The base is a cardboard box that I covered in a repurposed sari. The outer layer is a re-purposed scarf made from netting that is edged in gold trim with strings of beads at each corner. I used a red cord to tie it closed.

I cut the strings of beads from the corners of the scarf and sewed them to the corners of the box. I used a red cord to tie it closed.
